Alvaro (22, Spain)
“An experience that leaves you speechless”
Felix (18, Finland)
“I found the trip to be the most fun and the most interesting thing I have ever done”
Take a look at our learning journey
“In rural areas, intergenerational activities are the key to energizing and keeping roots alive. Human libraries allow us to know where we come from, to build a stronger and more inclusive territory. “
Sara (45, Spain)
“Corsica is a place where memories of the past give very strong impulses to all that you see and experience on this magic island!“,
Aiste (38, Lithuania)
“Learning, interculturalism and cooperation in a few days and a single destination that we will remember for the rest of our lives.”
Celia (20, Spain)
“Corsica and the overall experience was inspiring and bright. It left a strong mark and brought new ideas that I can't wait to share with others!“
Guste (18, Lithuania)
The Human library method is a broad engaging method, possible to execute in so many ways, depending on the place and society. When adding intangible heritage, the books become a fantastic library of Europe!
Annina (44, Finland)
“Having this opportunity to dig deeper into our roots and seeing the strong relationship between the locals in Corsica gave me motivation to do something good for my own community“
Kotryna (19, Lithuania)
How often do you think about history?
Joining on a TiktTok trend, we asked our young librarians how often they think about history in their daily lives. Check out their surprising answers!
